The position:
Manager – Global Business Services (f/m/d)
Location: Ideally based near a major airport (Frankfurt, Munich, Berlin, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Cologne, Stuttgart, Nuremberg or Leipzig)

Tasks
- Monitor the establishment and development of an outsourced shared service center (200–250 employees) for finance, HR, customer service, supply chain, procurement, as well as quality and production support processes
- Handle the ramp-down of the existing organization, the delivery of the associated savings targets, and steer the business process outsourcing (BPO) provider and its contract (incl. change requests, cost evolution, productivity targets and cost-allocation models)
- Conduct vendor performance reviews, including SLA and KPI, and discuss remediation actions
- Drive process harmonization and automation across end-to-end processes, the internal organization and the external provider
- Support the deployment of enabling technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), robotic process automation (RPA) and workflow automation
- Identify further activities to expand the shared service center’s scope over time
Profile
- At least 10 years professional experience and multiple (5+) years of experience in outsourced shared services of comparable scale
- Proven track record of managing the transition into an SSC or of driving significant productivity improvements in an outsourced center
- Experience with pharma, healthcare, high-quality manufacturing or similar industries
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally (approx. 30 %)
- Proficiency in English and German
- A high-energy individual with focus on results and high standards, impeccable integrity, strong values, and a good understanding of modern enterprise technology, Automation and Generative AI
- Collaboration across languages and borders
